Since iPhones are not able to download straight off from the internet, you may find that the means of getting your music are a bit different to that of Android users. It is still, however, a simple process.

Already installed on all iPhones is the Music app. If you are an Apple Music subscriber, you will be able to download and stream music from the app itself. To add music to your library, tap and hold the song you want to add and tap “Add to Library”. You will also be able to tap the “+” next to songs to add them, or even add entire albums.

To download a song to listen to when you are not connected to the internet, you will need to click the cloud icon that appears next to it once it has been added to your library. You are able to set all songs to download automatically once you add them to your library too. To do this, go to the Settings app and tap “Music”, then toggle the “Automatic Downloads” option to “On”. You can also see the progress of any downloading songs by tapping “Download Music” in your Library and then tapping “Downloading”.

Apple’s Music App is not the only app that allows you to download music to your iPhone. There are apps such as Spotify and Deezer which also offer a lot of music and have similar features to the Music app, allowing you to download as much music as you want with a small monthly fee. Take a look at each app and see which one appeals to you the most so that you get the most enjoyable experience when finding and listening to music.
