Apple’s 3 new iPhones replace the iPhone X
Earlier this month, Apple announced the release of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. These three new iPhones for 2018 officially replace the iPhone X. If you missed the all-big reveal, don’t worry because we summed up the 2 hour-long event for you.
iPhone XS and XS Max overview:
-Two sizes: 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch with OLED HDR screen (Super Retina displays)
-Colours: Gold, silver and space gray.
-Dual camera: 12-megapixel wide and telephoto lenses
-Front-facing cameras: the 7-megapixel camera will bring depth to portrait mode photos
-A12 Bionic chip: 7-nanometer processor promises to launch apps 30% faster than 2017 iPhones
-Storage options: 64GB, 128GB, 512GB
-IP68 water-resistance rating (2 meters depth; up to 30 minutes in water)
-Battery life: iPhone XS should last 30 minutes longer than iPhone X; iPhone XS Max claims 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone X
-Dual-SIM card support through eSIM technology
-Face ID promises to work faster at unlocking the phones
3D Touch pressure-sensitive screen
-Stereo sound with a wider stereo field than 2017 iPhones

The iPhone XR is for anyone who wants a taste of the iPhone X era: a large, nearly edge-to-edge display with a notch, Face ID, a glass back, and both wireless and fast charging. You’ll also get Portrait Mode with Depth Control, Smart HDR, and the same performance improvements of the A12 Bionic chip. iPhone XR also has a larger display than the iPhone XS and longer battery life than both the XS and XS Max. The iPhone XS, and more so the iPhone XS Max, in particular, is for anyone who wants the absolute best iPhone available today: up to a 6.5-inch OLED display, up to 512GB of storage, the A12 Bionic chip, IP68-rated water resistance, a stainless steel frame, gigabit-class LTE, and much more.
In addition to the 3 new iPhones, Apple also released a new watch.
Here’s what you can expect from the Apple series 4 watch:
-Larger screen: Up to 30% larger screens. They’re now 40mm and 44mm (up from 38mm and 42mm).
-Extensive Health features: The series 4 now has extensive heart monitoring capabilities it can detect a fall, notify you of irregular heart rhythms, and also warns you of a potential atrial fibrillation. The 4 also comes with new ECG function, the first of its kind to be available to customers over the counter.
-Bigger Processor: The 4 now comes with a -S4 processor chip. Apple says this offers twice the speed of the previous generation.
