Fortune 500 ranks major U.S corporations based on their gross revenues and Apple has made the list, claiming third place after only claiming fifth place last year and the year before.

The Fortune 500 list, which was published yesterday, revealed that Apple has managed over $233.7 billion for the 2016 list compared to their management of just under $182.8 billion in 2015.

Apple has been placed in third place behind retail giant, Walmart and oil tycoon, Exxon Mobil. Moving closer to home, in the technology industry, Apple was well-ahead of it’s competitors as the only conglomerate in the top 10. The only other high-tech firm to make the top 10 list was AT&T in 10th place with approximately $146.8 billion.
